My Story

My Story:

My name is Trent. I am a male Springer Spaniel and am about 10 years old. I came to the shelter after I was out exploring one day. I got a little too far away and just couldn't remember how to get home.

I am an older gentleman and because of that, I don't see or hear too well. The not hearing thing comes in kind of handy here at the shelter as I'm sure some of the young pups are pretty noisy and I can sleep right through their conversations!

Because I don't hear very well, a home without small children would probably be best. If I'm sleeping here at the shelter, the people always bump my bed or tug at my blanket to wake me up so I'm not startled too much. Small children may not realize they need to do that.

Even though I am a senior, I do still love to be petted and get all the attention I can. If you think you may be able to give an older gentleman like me a home, please stop by the shelter to meet me or fill out an adoption application right here online.

Your Sponsorship Donation Will Make A Difference!

We are a wonderful No-Kill animal shelter run solely on donations and by volunteers. We specialize in the "under pet" who needs life-saving surgery, amputation after a traumatic accident, providing long-term treatment, helping in the care of blind, diabetic, geriatric pets and offering emotional therapy to abused pets. Your sponsorship donation will help this pet tremendously, as well as hundreds of others each year! Since we are a private, non-profit charity, pets stay in our loving, fun atmosphere until they find not only "a home", but a great home! Whether a pet is 14 years old or special needs, there is a wonderful family somewhere in the USA waiting to open their heart and home! If you like what you see, or this pet has touched your heart, please consider making a secure donation (tax-deductible) online with your credit card (or by mail). By donating, you'll become part of a powerful, life-changing, no-kill facility looking out for the wonderful pets as they continue their journey to a loving, happy new life!
