Trapper is really a wonderful dog and would make his new owner very proud. He has beautiful eyes and a happy smile, as well as a beautiful coat. He weighs approx 64 pounds
Shepard mix, 7 plus years old, neutered, UTD on shots, micro chipped. Trapper was rescued from PACC on May27th when he contracted an Upper Respiratory Infection. He is all better now and looking forward to a new life and a forever home.
Trapper is crate trained, house trained and knows how to sit, stay, come, lie down and shake. He walks well on the leash with a training collar and enjoys his walks. He is a pretty mellow fellow inside the house and out. He has never chewed on anything he isn’t supposed to. Trapper loves to have someone pay attention to him. He loves being close to people and is a very sweet dog.
Trapper really likes playing fetch, only thing is, he doesn’t know how to give it back right away. He is an excellent ‘soccer’ player with bigger balls. He likes other toys and chew bones, as well. You should see him with the water hose…he likes biting the water stream, it’s fun to watch. He hasn’t taken too many car trips so that is kind of new to him, but he does well in the car. He went to the dog park just didn’t spend too much time with other dogs, he just kept racing around the perimeter of the park or wanting to leave. Trapper would be great as the only dog (he is kind of a toy hog and doesn’t like to share), but he is good with most other dogs. You would need to be cautious with him around other alphas. I’m not sure if he is good around cats or with children because we haven’t come across them.
