Trace is a sweet, friendly, energetic purebred German Shorthaired Pointer, AKC registration pending. He is about 2 years old. Trace was found as a stray in this cold winter weather and no one came to claim him.....he was about to be euthanized in an overcrowded rural pound when we rescued him. He is very affectionate, loves human attention, knows how to sit and shake hands and is learning to come when called and lie down. Walks nicely on a leash. Gets along well w/ all other dogs, loves to eat! He is very thin, you can see every single rib - we are working on getting weight on him. He is doing well in his foster home but really needs a home of his own and a special person to give him the attention and love he craves. He is healthy and now up to date on all vet care.
(As for all our dogs, we require an adoptive home for Trace to have a securely fenced yard for his safety.)
