Tootsie Roll

Tootsie Roll is a 12-pound, 11-week old, Labrador/Shepherd mix puppy (with a little Catahoula thrown in there—see her spotted feet) who loves to be held and petted and told what a pretty girl she is. We’re guessing she’ll be 30-35 pounds when she’s full-grown. Tootsie Roll lives in a foster home with her Mom and 7 siblings, plus 4 other dogs and 3 cats. And she gets along with EVERYBODY. She’s such an eager-to-please girl who is easily made happy. She’s very submissive, so she won’t have any problems with other dogs. Of course she likes to do all the puppy things: wrassle with her foster brothers and sisters, play with squeaky toys, run around the yard. She’s also very fond of fetch; throw the ball, inside or out, and she’ll return it until your arm wears out. But when she’s done playing, pick her up and she turns into melty puppy—just settling herself into your arms for a nice butt scritch or tummy rub. She’s a very affectionate pup. Tootsie Roll is crate trained but her housetraining is still in progress. She is not a destructive puppy—other than what you’d expect for normal puppy mischief (warn the toilet paper rolls to watch out for her!) She isn’t particularly barky, and she rides well in a car. Tootsie Roll would do equally well in a house or apartment. She would make an excellent family dog. Tootsie Roll’s adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, all puppy shots & microchip.
