My Story

Please contact Paul Slebzak ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.sweet small boy seeking fresh start and love! TOOT NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Toot Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of August 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 12 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats but he can be tested. We would be cautious placing Toot in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare small breed dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to ensure their interactions with the dog are calm and gentle in nature. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. Currently Living at: Will be transferred soon to Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. Needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here! Toot is Looking For: This cutie isn't one to toot his own horn so we're doing it for him. He's an awesome little pup with lots of love to offer. Toot is pretty young and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet - he's oh so eager to explore it by his new humans' side. Sniffy walks in the neighborhood, romps in parks, all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! Trips up to the sofa cushions (and maybe even up on laps?) are on his bucket list as well along with trying pup cups and testing all the different toys. But what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof - to know where he belongs. To be a loyal companion. What do you say? Are the adoring gazes and happy little tail wags and all the laughs Toot will give you, what you're looking for? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
