UPDATE! Tonka has had a complete turnaround!!!! He is super sweet and outgoing now as he romps about the play yard at lightning speed! He would be a great addition in any household now! Posted 01/20/08
This little guy is not very happy at the shelter, and he definitely seems to like men more than women. When he was found by the lady that brought him in, he was wearing a sweater, was very thin, and he was missing a good bit of fur. His fur has filled in now that he is on a good diet and living in clean conditions. Now we just need to work on his disposition. If you know this breed, maybe you would like to add him to your family, or maybe you could be interested in helping find him a home! Call, or better yet, come to see him at the shelter!

Adoption Fee: $85 which includes microchipping, spay/neuter, heartworm test, shots, worming. Cash or check only -- we do not take credit cards. Staff and volunteers socialize and work with the dogs on a daily basis. Most are leash trained and kennel trained upon adoption. We have really great dogs just waiting to be your new best friend!

We need volunteers and foster homes. Please email or call us , or just simply drop by, if you are interested in volunteering or fostering. These animals would love to have you come out and take them for a walk, or just sit and pet them.

Adoption Hours:

Tuesday through Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

CLOSED ON SUNDAYS & MONDAYS
