Toast

Toast is the most handsome little chunky man that you ever did see, and he definitely got it from his Mommy! He’s got the prettiest green eyes and the best little man wrinkles, and he gives new meaning to the phrase “bouncing baby boy.” We mean it- Toast’s preferred method of movement is HOPPING, and there is nothing cuter than this chunky cinnamon colored house hippo hopping around from toy to toy. Toast is super sweet and he LOVES to interact with people and he loves to play! Play with toys, play with other dogs, try to play with the cats who aren’t sure exactly what he is- if there is one thing to say about Toast, it’s that he will keep you laughing- the boy has personality. He loves all sorts of toys, and he is starting to learn “sit” and experiment with the crate. He’s a very smart boy and is doing well. He recently started working with a puzzle toy that he really enjoys and has gotten quite good at. Toast’s foster family has 2 dogs (1 male 1 female) and 2 cats (1 male 1 female) of their own, and Waffles interacts well with everyone, and tries to get anyone he can to play with him. He also interacts well with both children in his foster home as well, ages 6 and 12- but it is important to remember that Toast is a puppy and is still learning about people’s expectations of him. He’s currently learning about redirecting teething behavior to appropriate toys instead of chewing on people’s fingers. Toast is incredibly sweet and silly and will make such a great addition to a family, but please remember he is “just a baby” and will require some amount of training, and patience as he grows into your perfect companion. *Please note: Toast is currently available to foster or as a foster-to-adopt while he completes his puppy vaccinations and awaits a neuter date.
