My Story

TIPPY, SHELLY, and FERN—were, along with 5 other dogs, removed from an apartment along with 2 dead dogs, amidst dreadful filth—including feces, because they were NEVER allowed outside. Such is the tragedy of animal “collectors”—people who have this mental condition do not notice or care, they just take in animals but are not mentally able to see suffering, even dead bodies. All of the dogs removed from this situation had never been outdoors so were afraid to walk outside. Since then they were all rehabilitated and Gerdy took 3 of them looking for homes. NOT HOUSETRAINED understandably, but smart and quick learners! They are as follows: TIPPY This 30 pound black boy, being young, is still at the puppy chewing stage so should be crated when no one is home. He is VERY sweet and friendly, we think would be great as a family dog, he is likely 8 months old or so. A Border Collie mix mutt—he is active, playful, and full of beans and the joy of life! His good nature was not dampened by his situation, but he needs guidance in training to walk on leash well. He is very cute! Fully trusting. Will need housetraining, but is smart and will be a fast learner! Neutered, vaccinated Max 5, Bordatella, Rabies, dewormed, no fleas, heartworm tested negative.
