Tipper is 12 weeks old in these pictures taken February 25, 2008. She and her three siblings, Hammy, Scooter, and Piglet, as well as their mom, Zoe, are in foster homes.
Mom, Zoe, had always been kept out on a chain with little protection and sometimes no food or water. The neighbors would watch out for her and helped by giving food and water. Zoe was taken in by those same neighbors when they noticed that her owners had just left her when they moved.
Zoe was pregnant and gave birth to the four puppies (Tipper, Scooter, Hammy, and Piglet) on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2007. The neighbors are keeping her and two of her puppies until we can place them. An LP volunteer has the other two puppies until we can place them.
