We recently welcomed 13 year 5 lb yorkie mix Tiny Tim. He has had a cardiologist appointment to check on what we hoped was his wee little heart. Foster Momma reported that he was the bestest boy and everyone fell in love with him. Unfortunately we learned that he does have congestive heart failure on the left side of his heart and that is why his heart is enlarged and he has still has some fluid in his lungs. But fear not we have a plan! The dogtor changed his dosages for his meds and he will be rechecked in 2 weeks. Right now surgery to get his mouth and those rotten teeth fixed up is just too risky, so as long as Timmy is eating well, we will reevaluate at a later date. Right now we are giving him all the love he can stand. He even got his chickie nuggets on the way home and once his belly was full he was tuckered out and snoozed the whole way home.
