Tinkerbell

My name is Tinkerbell and I am about 8 months old and filled with a whole lot puppy energy! I am deaf but I have no idea I am different from any of the other dogs. I know how absolutely cute I am and it is very easy to spoil me but that is not what I need. It is important that I find a family who will make sure that I continue working with hand signals and not allow me to take over the house. Like any puppy, I am one adorable and happy little girl who will use my cuteness to try and get my way…I’m not bad, just looking for guidance on how to become a good family member.

I am learning basic hand signals and obedience but my new home will have to be very patient with me because I can be easily distracted by all the fun things around me and I can be a bit stubborn. I am also very athletic and have successfully nabbed things off the kitchen counter if someone was not paying attention…specifically bags of dog treats!

I get along with other dogs but I can be a bit much for dogs that are not as enamored with my puppy energy. An older or dominate dog may not tolerate me. I am not a couch potato and it will be essential that I find a family that will make sure I keep moving or I will find other not so productive ways to keep myself busy.

Tinkerbell is currently being fostered in Southern New Jersey. Transport assistance is available with adoptions.
