My Story

“The wonderful thing about Tiggers, Is Tiggers are wonderful things…” And our boy Tigger is just that, WONDERFUL! This brindle (almost tiger striped) Pit Bull/Boxer mix with an approximate DOB of 3/2018 has only three legs, but that does not stop him from loving life and living it to the fullest! If he’s not out speed walking with volunteers, he can be found relaxing in his kennel or hanging out with an easy-going female dog in the yard. The perfect balance of energetic/playful and calm/cuddly! Tigger is such a sweet boy who often gets passed over because of his breed. He is an amazing boy and everyone that meets him falls completely in love. He is a wonderful companion who is very dedicated to his people. You won’t find any Tiggers sweeter than this boy! Unless you are a cat! Tigger is NOT fond o cats at all, so no cats in the house for our sweet boy. Give our blocky headed friend a chance and come meet him! If you are interested in Tigger, please fill out an application here: https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives. As such, we screen all potential adopters and strive to match each adopter with the perfect fit for their lifestyle and activity level.
