Thurgood was found as a stray in Savannah. He has completed treatment for heartworms and is healthy and ready for adoption. He is housetrained and minds well. Thurgood is generally laid back, quiet, and gentle. But at the same time, he also can be playful. For example, he'll play with our two 25-lb dogs when they want to play, and he behaves well with dogs of all sizes, from bassets to smaller. Thurgood really needs a canine friend in his forever home. He is tolerant with everyone and likely would do great with kids although his foster family doesn't have children. He loves to give and get attention.
