Thunder

Thunder is a 7 year old shepherd who was originally dropped off to us with little to no history. He was found roaming along Ingraham Trail and since being at the shelter, he has not been claimed. Though we didn't know too much about him before coming into our care, we have learnt that he is a loving boy full of energy who just needs to find the right person to take him home. Though thunder is starting to get older, he has quite the drive and is a very excitable boy! He loves chasing balls in our off leash play pen, going on long walks and sunbathing. It is clear that he will need training in basic manners and leash walking as he came in not knowing any commands. He has a love for adventure and being outdoors so he'd love to find an active home that can give him outlets for lots of exercise. Though he was a bit nervous at first, thunder has warmed up to staff and volunteers and is a very loyal boy. We have noticed some resources guarding tendencies, so he will need an experienced owner that will be able to properly manage this and work to build a better relationship with food. We're still figuring out how well he does when socializing with other dogs.
