Hi there, my name is Thorston, but they call me Thor. Im looking for my forever home, hopefully one that will take me on lots of walks, provide endless pets, and feed me all the yummy treats! Im a dream at 2 years old and only 34-pounds, full grown. We dont know what breeds I am, since Im a rescue, but everyone tells me how cute I am! I have adoring eyes and a velvety black and white coat.
Im a smart boy who already understands a few commands. I even know to sit and wait for my dinner. I just want my new family to love me and see that Im such a good boy. Im already crate trained and potty trained too! Oh, and Im easy to walk on leash, making our walks together enjoyable for us both.
I live with a fluffy cat and I dont pay him any attention. He likes to come lay down by me, but I just ignore him. I also live with two other dogs, a small dog and a bigger dog. I like dogs of all sizes and genders, and would love to have a doggy friend in my new home, but its not required. Im also good with kids ages 10 and up.
I enjoy going on car rides, whether it be to get a pup cup, run errands, or go somewhere fun like the beach. When Im outside I enjoy a good game of fetch, sunbathing, or just hanging out with my dog friends. When Im inside, I love to follow my foster mom around and watch everything shes doing. Cuddling with her and getting lots of pets and scratches are my favorite. Im an affectionate boy who really loves my people.
I know how to settle down in the house and am not high energy. If Im not next to my foster mom, youll find me cuddled up on a comfy, fluffy bed or couch. Or sometimes I enjoy gazing out the window to enjoy the sunlight.
I'm seeking a family to take me on long walks, play ball (I do bring it back), and show me affection. I'm going to be a very happy boy and the best member of the family. A cutie like me doesnt come around every day, so dont miss out on your chance to make me part of your family.

*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program, prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 11,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
