Meet Thor, the gentle GIANT. Thor is a 3 year old, 140lb Rottweiler who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Bakersfield. We are guessing he was dumped there because he was not a good "watch dog". Thor is such a sweetheart and a mushball- he hasn't met a person that is a stranger at the rescue. He LOVES everyone he meets. Not to mention he's great with the other dogs at the rescue, and will probably be fine with cats as well. He's fine with kids as he is super mellow and laid back- he loves coming up to you and turning his butt into your leg for a nice scratch. He's a wonderful boy who will make a great addition to just about any family with a good sized yard and lots of love to give. Thor must go to a home where he can be an indoor/outdoor dog. He is up to date on shots, neutered, micro-chipped and comes with a free month of pet insurance. Adoption fee $350.
Please fill out an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. The rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
