We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Theodore is a 2 YR old, 45 lb, neutered male Staffordshire mix, who is currently being fostered in Houston, TX. He can be transported to an approved adopter. Theodore is a loving, calm dog who does well with people and dogs! He loves to cuddle his foster family and naps with his foster dog sibling on the couch during the day. He enjoys meeting strangers and is calm and sweet while he's being pet. He has a playful energy level and loves to romp around with his toys. Theodore does well with other dogs! He has a zealous play style and sometimes can be a little too much for some dogs. He often tries to engage is foster sibling in play. He does well with dogs of various sizes. He would love to have a doggy sibling to play with but would do fine in a home on his own. No food aggression has been observed with either humans or other dogs. Theodore enjoys playing with toys and sometimes can mistake a household item for his own. He does well when redirected from the item. He has had a few accidents in the home, but is doing better in his training. Theodore is crated at night and when alone, and does well in the crate. When on leash, Theodore does not react to other dogs or people and walks calmly next to his foster mom. Sometimes he likes to take breaks on walks, so he doesn't need a daily adventure. Just a stroll or two a day is sufficient for this guy! We believe that Theodore's small to medium size and calm temperament make him ideal for homes with children of many ages. He currently does not live with children. Theodore would thrive in almost any home. He is still working on some of his training, but he aims to please and he progresses every day in his foster home. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
