Thano

Thano is a three year spotted pointer mix who was surrendered to the shelter when his owners could no longer care for him. He also lived with another dog. Thano is an exuberant boy who loves to run in the yard and chase toys. He needs to be reminded of proper manners so he doesn't jump in excitement, but sometimes he gets so excited he forgets to sit and wait for the next throw! His leash manners are quite good, and he enjoys his walks. Thano will sniff and examine his surroundings but will frequently check in with his human on his walks. His favorite activity, though is playing in the baby pool and jumping in to make huge splashes before he lays down. Thano has the potential to be a wonderful family companion for one that will work with his natural energy and excitement. They will get an active and loving family member. The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
