My Story

TEX IS AVAILABLE THRU THE SHELTER, CONTACT INFO BELOW: He is a beautiful, sweet boy who is also fairly well behaved. Even though he’s very large at 100 pounds, he has an easy going, gentle personality. He is approximately 4 years old and may be Anatolian mixed with something else. Tex appears to like other dogs and could possibly go to a multi-dog family. Tex is happy to be around people and just spend time sitting or lounging. Some of the people from the shelter have been taking him home for the weekends – he’s very well loved there. He has been on the news here a couple of times....loves being a movie star. Also loves to go fishing. His paperwork notes he has the beginnings of hip displasia and may eventually need meds or even surgery. This dog has been rated 'B' by the shelter behavior evaluation system which means he will do best with older children. His case No. is 17349; adoption fee is $100. To meet this wonderful dog, contact Lizz Westphal, Rescue Coordinator, Sacramento SPCA, 6201 Florin-Perkins Rd.,Sacramento, CA 95828 (916) 383-7387 x9108 or email [email protected].
