Requirements: -Tessie should live in a home without other dogs -If there are children in the home, they must be respectful of a dog's boundaries -Tessie's home must have a fully secured fenced yard (no apartments) Pup-sonality: Tessie here! I might be small, but I come with lots of personality. I am ready to make your family complete! A little history about me is that I was made to have lots and lots of babies in my past life and when I was done having all of those babies, I was sent to a lonely shelter to live out my days. This really awesome group of people saw my picture and all of a sudden, I made a long journey to Canada where I can finally be somewhere that I am treated like the princess that I am. My foster family rocks and say tons of nice things about me such as She's a sweetheart beyond measure, who just wants to be cuddled and loved. I mean, I can't argue with any of it. While I really like it in their home, I really want a place to call my own. I should live in a home without other dogs as I do enjoy having all of the toys and attention to myself. After being such an amazing Mom to so many pups over the years, I think I've earned it. I really like my people. I love to snuggle and cuddle and mostly just be as close as I can be most of the time. If you're hiding behind a door, I may come a knocking to let you know that I'm on the other side. I'm not a huge fan of people that I don't know, but once I've learned that they're ok, I will start to chill out, but I may bark at them until we get to know each other, so apartments would not be a good fit for me. A quiet home without too many visitors would suit me best. I am very smart and know lots of commands. I can stay, come when called, get down, and can learn so much more. I really aim to please. I am also housetrained but I've never been left alone for too long at one time. I can sometimes still try to escape my home, even though I'm safe now, sometimes I forget that, so a vigilant human should always be watching when I am outside or if someone is coming in or out of the house just in case I think it's a good time to stretch my legs. Otherwise, I love being outdoors and sunning myself. I'm just not a fan of cold weather or rain, perhaps a nice sweater will help me when the winter comes. I am looking for unconditional love from a family ready to give me all of the cuddles and attention that I deserve. I will give you all of those things back ten-fold. Apply to adopt me today!
