He loves to go for walks and does it with a prong collar. Without it we are working on not pulling. He has also used head halters and regular leashes. Tegan is crate trained for sleeping and "time-outs." Tegan loves to run off leash at large open dog parks or the beach but is not a fan of small enclosed dog parks. He loves to play catch and will play for hours. His absolute favorite thing in the world is chasing water from the garden hose. He loves to cuddle up in blankets and will completely hide himself. He even covers himself with a blanket in his crate! He loves to be petted and scratched and held, but does not like to be hugged or have his feet touched.
Tegan has the typical personality of a Fox Terrier. He is very loyal, intelligent and has great problem solving skills. He is playful, has very high drive and is a confident and determined boy. He loves to be with people and loves to be the center of attention. Tegan appears to be fine with cats, but has not been around them in a while. He is cordial with other dogs who are well behaved. He is good with older children but has little tolerance for young children.
Tegan would prefer to be an only dog, but could possible get along with certain personalities. Tegan would be a great fit for an experienced dog owner who is ready to take on a loving and playful Fox Terrier.
