HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: He is housebroken, and loves his crate! It is his safe space during scary thunderstorms. Speak with his Coordinator for more details! KNOWN LIKES: Teddy loves hikes, swiming, and being outside!!! He LOVES playing with a ball, and is very good at finding his ball from anywhere in the house or outside. He loves to play and be near his owners, and nighttime cuddles. KNOWN DISLIKES: Teddy does not like loud noises, or nail trimmings. But will let the doggy salon trim his nails!! ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 72 lbs ESTIMATED AGE: 4 1/2 years old KNOWN WITH DOGS: Teddy does well with larger dogs . A careful introduction is encouraged. Teddy is not going to be a fan of doggy daycare or a boarding style situation. KNOWN WITH CATS: Teddy is not good with cats KNOWN WITH KIDS: Teddy is not a fan of little kids- they kind of wig him out!! But an older family would be just fine with teens and adults :) KNOWN COMMANDS: Teddy is GREAT with "heel" and "off". He knows the command "place" "sit" "down" "stay" "come" as well! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Teddy is a fun loving 4 1/2 yr old, 72 lb Mountain Cur/Lab mix. He is a smart, affectionate and playful boy. Teddy is looking for home where his human pals will be adults or teenagers. Teddy will love a home where he can play outside and go on adventures!! He LOVES swiming so someone with a pool or who likes water sports would be a great companion for him. He likes to have a task to do and he's a superb running partner. Ball is his favorite game, and he's done classes for obedience training. Teddy is a smart boy. Teddy will thrive as the only dog in his home. However, if you have other family member dogs in your life that are his size and larger, they can certainly be slowly introduced and become best friends in no time. We can happily give advice to a successful introduction to lead to success!
