My Story

Ted's rescuer writes: "I found Ted waiting in the security line at the Compton Courthouse about two weeks ago. I was late but wasn't going to let him wander. He was going back and forth from person to person, wagging his tail and looking for attention. He had no collar and no one knew to whom he belonged. I took him to my vet and he had no chip. My vet and staff thought he was between 6 months and a year old but based on his behavior, I'm guessing around 8 months. I checked around the neighborhood and both shelters that cover Compton without success. I'll keep trying. He was not neutered so I've had him neutered, chipped and given his shots. He has the second shot in one of the vaccine series set for next week. He was not house trained but is close to it now. He is incredibly sweet! I'd like him to have a home with another small dog as a playmate or if not that, with someone who is home the majority of the day. Understandably, he has some separation anxiety but it is minimal and short term." This little guy LOVES to play with other dogs. We'd love to see him in a home with another little playful pup www.dawgsquad.org
