Ted is a 10 year old Standard Schnauzer mix and weighs 40 lbs. Shy at first; Ted loves older children and all people. Ted loves his stuffed toys and brings them to you when he wants to play. His favorite game of course is "chase me while I have the toy. Ted would be perfect for a retiree with a quiet household as he loves to lie at your feet or look out the window. When he wants attention, he'll gently and lovingly drop his chin in your lap. House trained and leash trained, Ted will make an excellent companion to his person but would prefer to be an only dog. Although active and healthy, Ted is showing signs of wanting a slow and gentle life. There are some naturally occurring age-related changes to his blood work but nothing that warrants medication.
