Taz is a 5 yr. old lab/mastiff mix (our best guess) though to look at him you'd think he was a very old man. He has a thyroid condition which, though easily controlled with inexpensive daily meds, was neglected for a LONG time by his owner. By the time local animal control officials were called in, it was almost too late. Taz has spent several days in intensive care, and has improved enough to go to a foster home-which he doesn't have. Could you offer him that special place to recuperate? (While he is in foster care, all his expenses are covered by Ahimsa Haven). Or make a small donation toward his care? Without your support, dogs like Taz wouldn't have a chance!
