My Story

Tatiana came into rescue two months ago after being tossed from a car in a parking lot. Why anyone would even think of throwing this darling little girl away, is beyond cruel. She was scooped up by a good Samaritan and taken to a member of Paws and Claws Rescue. When we first checked this little girl over we were leaning towards the thought that she was a Rat Terrier or Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier mix, but now we are thinking Fox Terrier. These breeds are so very similar that it is a toss up either way. Most terrier breeds have their tails docked, but that is only done here in the USA. In Europe, they are left totally natural and I am happy to say Tatiana has her tail and she carries it high and proud. These little dogs make truly wonderful companion dogs and are affectionate and extremely loyal to their families. They are bright, easy to train and keep their young spirit throughout their entire lives. They are small in size (she is fully grown and about 10 pounds) but have the heart of a lion. They have a very short coat and will need to wear a sweater when taken outside in the winter weather for their daily walks. Tatiana is ten months old, housebroken, kennel trained and loves other dogs. She is a Terrier through and through and will take an experienced dog owner as these smart little dogs are not for the first time dog owner. She is the best of best snugglers and will sit on your lap and watch whatever you are watching on TV looking up at you every now and then with eyes that say "I love you and thank you for adopting me". Titiana's has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and waiting for that special home to come along. Tatee's (the name she answers to) adoption fee is $375.00 which includes her transportation to the NE area. If you would like more information concerning her or would like to fill out an adoption application, please contact Kim at kimb01@cablelynx.com and she will e-mail one to you. Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog rather than purchasing one from a breeder.
