Tator Tot is energetic, playful and always happy! He loves to play with kids and other dogs and has mastered walking on a leash. He came into rescue with a badly broken led and has had multiple surgeries to correct it. After a long period of restricted activity to allow his leg to heal, he has a new lease on life and is enjoying it to the fullest! He has also completed "Good Boy" training with Bayou Training Academy and has learned how to appreciate his new found freedom after many months of rehabilitation restriction and is doing wonderful! If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
