My Story

Update: May 24th, 2008. Adoption Status: ADOPTED! Well, it's official...Tanner's adoption is final. Tanner is enjoying his days with a wonderful couple in North Vancouver who also have two dog friendly cats. We can tell Tanner is ecstatic!

Tanner has an adoption pending in North Vancouver. We should know by the end of next week if his adoption is final. Please keep checking here on his status.

Say hello to Tanner, a 3 year old, neutered Pomeranian. Tanner is in need of a new home because the 18 month old son is severely allergic to him. Tanner is in good health and gets along well with cats, dogs and is great with children. Tanner can be very vocal at times therefore condo or apartment living would not be suitable. Please research the Pomeranian before applying if you are not familiar with the breed. They may be small dogs but have huge personality and attitude and do require a lot of exercise. Tanner has been with the same family since a young pup. Here is what Tanner's family has to say about him. For an application email [email protected]

Hi, my name is Tanner. I'm a purebred, sable colored, teddy bear sized, Pomeranian. I'm only 31/2 years old and I LOVE life! I need lots of running around or exploring the city with my owner. I am so loyal when given love and attention and I have a beautiful coat when it's properly groomed. I have grown up around 2 cats that I love to play with and tease and a little boy who is 1 1/2 years old who unfortunately turned out to be allergic to me. We got along so well, but now we can't play together. I haven't been around too many other dogs but I love them non the less. I was once in a walking group with six other off leash dogs and had such a gas!

I'm in great health, but about a year ago I had to have a bladder stone removed surgically so I could eliminate normally. Since then I've been fine with no problems whatsoever. I was purchased from a breeder and have all vet records. All my shots are up to date. I am very sad to leave my home but I do want my little boy to be well. I am so hopeful to find a new loving family that I can fit in with and live happily ever after. For an application email [email protected]
