Say hello to Tanner #17, an approximately 3 year old black male lab that weighs 44 lbs. Tanner’s foster mom says he is a wonderful boy. He is gentle, friendly and playful, but not hyper. He absolutely loves other dogs and is cautious around cats. When Tanner’s neighbor’s lab goes outside, he will bark at the fence to summon Tanner. When Tanner hears him, he runs to his door and cries to go outside to play. They meet at the fence and exchange greetings and share treats. When Tanner isn’t socializing with the neighbor, he loves to play bitey face with his foster fursibling. Tanner's biggest wish is to have a doggy sibling in his new home. He’s very respectful of other dogs and will play as little or as much as his playmate allows. When a playmate isn’t available, Tanner loves to retrieve or play quietly with his toys. Besides being dog friendly and sweet, he is also smart. He is house trained, crate trained, and a very willing student. If a correction is ever needed, a gentle no will redirect him. Tanner is a great all-around guy that will be a wonderful addition to any family, hopefully one that has a fursibling. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to adopt him.
