My name is Tahoe and they think I am about 1.5 years old, but they are not sure. My energy levels depends on what is going on. I can have the energy of a puppy or the calmness of an older dog. When I am with my foster brother, we love to play! We love to wrestle and chase each other around the house. Sometimes we play a little too rough and we need to take a break. When my playmate isn’t around, I love to be with my foster dad. He has a stash of tennis balls and is always willing to play fetch with me. But when he isn’t around, he hides his stash from me because I like to chew on them. My next favorite game is tug! If you are willing to take the time to play hug with me, I’ll be your best friend! Once I have had enough play, I just want to snuggle with my foster dad. I love to be as close to you as I can get. If there is a speck of an open spot on the couch, I will make myself fit. I have learned my foster dad’s routine really quick. He has to go to someplace called work during the day and I am okay with being alone because I know it will be play time when he gets home! Bedtime isn’t my favorite. I will go into the kennel because I know I get treats but I may express my displeasure for a few minutes before I settle down. I have learned some commands like sit and break. I know sit but sometimes I find it boring. I am a faster learner and would love to find my forever human will teach me more! My dream furever home would be filled with humans who wouldn’t mind a little personal space invasion. I am just trying to cuddle and be as close to you as I can get! I would love to have another canine companion to play with and would also love a human of my own to play with and have some hard core cuddle sessions with. My foster dad says I snore sometimes and he says it is adorable (his words, not mine), it makes him laugh. I have met some kids and they seem okay.
