Sweetie’s a perky little 10-lb. girl who’s almost forgotten her rough start in life. The vet says she's 3-4 years old. She’s mainly used to an average sized room but also likes being outdoors. In good weather she could be outside during much of the day and inside overnight. Enjoys walking on leash and would love a safe place to freely run. Sleeps in her crate overnight. Knows “stay” and will sometimes “fetch,” likes toys and chews. Sweetie likes laptime and/or being beside her person on a big chair or couch. Hasn’t been allowed on a bed, but would probably like that, too. She’s basically quiet but is alert and will bark when necessary. She’d likely get along with a similar sized dog, depending on their “chemistry.” No resident or visiting kids under high school age and probably not cats. Sweetie goes out 4-5 times a day on a fairly regular schedule and is basically housetrained, but we recommend a non-carpeted house with owner(s) at home most of the day. It’s best if there's a regular door or doggie door that opens into the required fenced exercise area.
