My Story

My name is Suzie Q and I am one great big 90 lb. bundle of love (although I don't look that big). I was found as a stray and rescued from a local shelter on my last day by Save Ohio Strays. Since I was found as a stray not much is known about my past history. I am, however, very smart and learn quickly. I know the basic commands and am already housebroken. I also listen very well and do as I am told. I love to play with kids and am also good with cats. I get along with other dogs but I am not quite sure how to go about playing. I get very excited and can play rough. I love to run and chase a ball but am still learning on how to bring it back. I am crate trained but really don't need to be in one when left alone. I have many of the good traits of the Bermese Mt. dog. I am very affectionate and just want love and attention. I can also be protective and sometimes am fearful of things (my foster mom thinks I was kept outside). I sometimes do things out of fear such as barking. I would really make a great family pet for some family. Won't you give me a chance and give me a New Year's present as well as yourself? If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an on-line application at www.saveohiostrays.org.
