My Story

Sunshine is a red & white female basset who came to BHRG from Gray where she was found as a stray. She is now up-to-date on her shots and has been spayed. She has also completed treatment for heartworms. Sunshine is a sweet little girl with a soft coat. She loves her toys even low unsuspecting pot holders she can reach, however if you tell her "no" she will let it go and walk away. She is very loving and would like to be sitting on your lap all the time. She gives kisses when ever she can and feels most comfortable sitting next to you on the couch. She has a lot of energy, gets along well with other dogs, small children. She does not really come when you call her yet, but we have only had her for a very short time. She was a little (very little) skittish at first but warmed up very quick to everyone. We are crate training her now like we do for our other dogs. We're not really sure about her housetraining skills yet, but she has not had an accident in the house yet.
