Would you like nothing better than to snuggle on the couch or in the bed with a warm dog? If so, Sunny is your gal. Sunny desperately wants to be a house dog and a lap dog Sunny would not make a good apartment or close neighborhood dog without some training because she loves to exercise her beautiful voice in response to coyotes outside if you have them in your ara. She has responded well to a citronella bark collar, though. In typical coonhound fashion, she needs a fence that she will respect. She can (and does) go over 4 foot fences as so she can be with me. She is housetrained with one proviso -- make absolutely sure that she goes to the bathroom before she comes in for the night. She will probably always limp a little from the squashed foot but she really wants to be a devoted dog and sleep on the sofa with her human while her human watches TV. Oh, yeah, she gets along with dogs and cats but needs help with her doggy etiquette -- runs around sticking her nose in all the food bowls (including mine if she can) and tries to get all the treats at bedtime.
