My Story

1. PLEASE NOTE: Breed mix info is the best guess of Bark Bark Wag and our vets. There is no way to know for certain what any dog's breed mix is or whether they may be "hypoallergenic" without a DNA test; and most mixed-breed dogs may have 3, 4, 5+ different breeds in their mix! 2. MUST READ --THE FIRST STEP: Go to www.barkbarkwag.org and click on "Let's Get Started!" to learn about our easy 3-step adoption process & apply to adopt! *PLEASE NOTE: WE NEED AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS* SUNDAY A big hello from little Miss Sunday! She's 12-13 weeks old, a Dachshund/Terrier mix, and weighs 13#. We welcomed this leggy little gal recently, after a shelter partner found her abandoned in a crate outside their building. Sunday is safe with us now and thriving, and we're soooo glad this sassy sweetheart has joined the BBW family! Our best guess is Sunday will weigh 25-35# as an adult. She's adorable, spunky and smart; and she's doing all the cutest puppy things like climbing, gently chewing on fingers and being unbearably cute! Delightful Sunday had a sweet shyness initially when meeting new people, but she's gaining in confidence every day and becoming a social butterfly! If you hold her (which she loves!), she will cuddle right into your arms happily, or climb into your lap if you're sitting. Every dog she meets is a potential best friend, and she will play bow and wag to encourage some fun and games! Sunday would love a doggie housemate she can play with and learn from; and a loving family who is moderately active (or one with respectful kids 8+) who can give her a fairly consistent schedule would be great for her. Sunday is doing well with beginner potty training (and crate-training), and a good routine is important to continue her learning. A fenced yard is preferred. Adoption preference will be given to families who plan to attend positive puppy manners classes with their new pup! APPLICATION & INFO: https://barkbarkwag.org/adopt.html A certificate will be provided by the Rescue upon request toward spay/neuter at 6 months of age, redeemable at All About Animals Clinic in Warren, MI.
