Sugar was a 'drop and run'. Someone who said they had found her, dropped her off and quickly left without leaving any information. So, was Sugar really a stray? Was she a dump, or was she left behind because her family couldn't keep her anymore. Since we didn't know her name, we came up with Sugar because she's so sweet. (And, of course , keeping in the boxer line there's that famous boxer Sugar Ray Leonard......) As you can see by her photo, she's a flashy brindle and white.... a real looker! She's good on a leash, and doesn't pull the volunteers down the street like many of the strays do so the ladies enjoy taking her for a walk. The town vet was in, estimated she was perhaps 4 or 5 years old, and gave her a rabies vaccination. .......Sugar's only been at the shelter a short time, and we're hoping she finds a home quickly. >>>>>>GREAT NEWS!
