Stumpy is believed to be a male Sussex Spaniel or mix, possibly with Cocker Spaniel. Stumpy came to the shelter after he was found in the Highbottom area of Louisa, wearing a collar and dragging part of a leather leash that appeared to have been broken. Stumpy is around 9mths to 1 year of age and a super nice dog. He is built low to the ground with a longer body style and short legs. He has a coat that is a mixture of wavy and straight and he has a super personality. He is very laid back and loving and appears to be housetrained. Stumpy was very clean when he came to the shelter and we are sure he has a home out there somewhere. If you have lost a dog like Stumpy please contact the shelter to reclaim him. If not reclaimed soon, he will be available for adoption.
