Stryder

Update 09/12/05: Stryder is being fostered in Columbia, Maine!!!!

Stryder is a 5 mo. old Turveren mix -we think. He is absolutely gorgeous!! He has longer fur and is fluffy. He is going to be a very big bear-like dog. :) He is super friendly and has lots of puppy energy. We aren't sure exactly what he is mixed with and we have never seen anything quite like him, we were e-mailed by someone who said that is whet he probably is....but anyway, he is brindle colored all over, he looks like he got a foil at the beauty shop!! He is amazingly gorgeous and definately going to be big.

He originates from a horrible shelter in TN that doesn't even regularly feed their dogs....an independent rescue saved him and sent him to a shelter in Mass., their shelter was going to send him back because he doesn't like being kenneled. And he doesn't, he really does not like going in a crate, unless you put a bone in it, then he will hop right in!! Who knows what this poor guy has been through, but whatever it is, he isn't holding us responsible, because he is a love!! He gives kisses and wags his tail like he has never been happier. And can you blame him??? He would really love to have all his dreams come true and find someone with a high fence that he can't jump over that will keep him nice and safe the rest of his life!! He would probably be fine with bigger kids, but he is going to be a big dog, he will need obedience training due to his size. He has not been cat tested, but due to his breed, should be placed without them. His adoption fee is $200.00.
