This boy is about sweetest dog you can imagine, and so gentle and loving. He also has a great Aussie grin that he uses all the time to smile at people for even the slightest bit of sweet talk-- very endearing. Stormy is from a situation in VA where he lived as a breeding dog and didn't get a lot of individual love or attention and he is looking to make up for lost time! We estimate his age at about 8-10, and he weighs 48 lbs. He's a dilute red bi with no tail. Despite living outdoors his whole life, he has been 100% reliable in the house and doesn't chew on anything or steal stuff. He is just intensely curious about how it all works.
Stormy will go into his crate and be very relaxed there but he is so happy to be out and about with the other dogs, or just by your side. Initially he had no clue about indoors versus outdoors but he quickly learned "out!" means head for the door to the back yard. He's so willing to find out what you want and do it with just a little effort on your part. He walks beautifully on leash, too.
This guy had some small health issues now taken care of, including a small mass on one eyelid that was successfully removed. He seems to be so happy to be able to see fully now. The hair around his eye was shaved for the surgery which is why he looks a little like the dog from Spanky and Our Gang now, but it will regrow quickly. He also had some buildup on his teeth and some broken that were removed in a full dental along with some extraneous gum tissue that sometimes will grow over stumps of broken teeth. He now has a lovely pain-free mouth and eats with no problem and has sparkling fresh breath. The conditions he was in left some matting and icky stuff on his back end so that was shaved to accommodate health and cleanliness but he get back lovely pantaloons in no time
This lovely fellow gets along great with other dogs. He's playful and on the submissive side. Won't you consider giving him the life he so deserves?
