Stormy

Stormy is a 5-6 year old American Bulldog/Husky mix. He gets along well with people and pets of all kinds. You will be hard-pressed to find an easier, more well-behaved dog in the rescue world. Stormy is a true empath: he wears his massive heart out on his sleeve and seems to feel whatever his human is feeling. Stormy is happiest when he is with his human(s). Whatever the situation, he will watch you for behavioral cues and does best when he can be in contact with you. He has great recall and does well on a leash with gentle guidance. He does not need a lot of exercise, but he does need one-on-one time with his people everyday to be happiest. He's a big fan of rules. He is always appropriate when his boundaries are invaded, but he will do best in a home where his personal space is respected by the other animals. Stormy loves toys. You will often find him carrying something around the house or outside with him. However, he loves snuggle-time the most and will be happy to end every day cuddling with you. He will do fine as an only dog or an addition. He will do his best to make you proud and meet whatever emotional needs you may have.
