Stormy

10/08/08: STORMY HAS BEN ADOPTED! CONGRATS TO STORMY, HIS NEW MOM, WANDA AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY!!10/7/08: Stormy is a 4 pound mighty dog! He has been neutered and is ready to come home. Unfortunately, due to his previous owner's failure to give heartworm prevention, Sormy has tested positive for heartworms. However, this is NOT a death sentence and he hs started on a microfilaricide treatment. His new owner will just have to maintain him on a monthly HWP just as they would if he had a HW negative result. Stormy requires no special care because of his HW status. Stormy also is in need of a dental but this is typical of a dog his age, size and breed. Alittle TLC and Stormy will be as good as new and will make a terrific family companion. 7/24/08 Stormy was just picked up tonight and is a smaller chihuahua, blue in color with some graying around his face-makes him look distinguished...He is approx 7 years old and has his whole next half of his life to enjoy with a new family. He is SUPER sweet and seems to like everyone. He is good with kids and seems to LOVE attention! He also seemed to enjoy riding in a car-trying to catch some air while he looked out the window. We will be getting him neutered and vetted as soon as we can and pics will be up soon. If you think this little guy may be for you, just let us know. We will have more info about this boy after he has been with us for awhile and will pass any new information along as it becomes available.
