Starling

Starling is a silly, happy 8 week old female Lab/Shepherd puppy. She has a soft light chocolate colored coat. She arrived at the humane society with her siblings (ten in all) and their Mommy, Morgan. The puppies were only about 10 days old. As the pups began to grow, the shelter put a plea out for a foster home to care for Morgan and her puppies until they were 8 weeks old and could be adopted out.

Well, a terrific couple stepped forward and fostered Morgan and the puppies for the past many weeks. They took on a big job with 10 growing puppies and mom! The couple and their family took excellent care of our little family! The puppies got lots of socialization, love and TLC. These puppies have been around all ages of people, including children. They have experienced a great family life. And Mommy, Morgan blossomed into a wonderful, calm, friendly dog. The shelter staff is so very grateful to our foster home. We can't thank them enough for all they did for Morgan and her pups.

The puppies and mommy arrived on Tuesday and are now at the shelter looking for their loving 'forever homes'. We have 6 puppies (4 have already been adopted). They are all fantastic puppies who will make loving family pets.
