This gorgeous White German Shepherd female is in need of a new home, one willing to work with her insecurities and teach her that not all people are bad. She is doing very well in her foster home, and will do even better when she has a home of her very own. A home without other animals or small children and a fenced yard would be best. Here is what her foster Mom has to say about her. "Star is a young female White German Shepherd, about 2-3 years old and weighs approx. 60 pounds. She will soon be spayed and ready for adoption. Currently Star is a "diamond in the rough". She has come a long way but will need help continuing to work on her manners. She consistently has been "sitting" and "laying down" when asked- and enjoys her treat after doing so. She is house trained and has never has an accident at her foster home. She is also create trained. For a treat, she'll climb right in, although she still tends to get a bit noisy when in the crate. She loves to have all the attention she can get from her foster mom and loves to snuggle and give kisses. This did take some time, as Star was very shy when she first arrived. She is making herself at home now, but in public, she tends to cower and still becomes very timid. She does, however, love the pets and attention she gets, but is just unsure. She does seem to have issues with her insecurity. Star does have other dogs at her foster home. Although she does love to play with them, she can be a bit unpredictable and does tend to get jealous, whether it is over toys or affection for her foster mom. She would make a great pet for someone as a one-dog home, in which she could get all the attention she wants and she could continue to work on her training. This sweet little girl just needs a home of her own and some love!"
