You can call me Star, but I also can be called "The" Star and "Miss" Star, I am just that way! Don't get me wrong, no attitudes on my part, just I look the part of a Star!!!
Info from Lady's Foster Mom
Star is very pretty, needs lots of grooming. Good natured, walks around on her hind legs. She's going to make a great companion to the right person.
March 2006 Update from Star's Foster Mom!!!
Star is fantastic
She is house trained, she has had the odd accident but I think it was more from excitement than anything Star loves the outdoors and on nice days sometimes even not so nice days she loves it outside so much she won't come in when called. If Star doesn't have it in her head to come in well it is quite a chore to get her in. But eventually with a little coaxing she will come in.
Star has the most wonder full temperament. She is very gentle and loving. I have not seen or heard her groan or growl at all.
She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She is not food possessive She gets along will with my other dogs very well. She is almost the mother of the bunch and she is the youngest of the bunch
I am not too sure about cats as I don't have one but she sure does like to chase the neighbourhood cats out of my yard.
She is very friendly with everyone both male and female. Not too sure with younger children as I do not have any.
She is great on her own when no one is at home she is not destructive.
The only thing she is destructive with is her balls she likes to pop them open to get the noisy thing out so until she pops the ball I need to watch her so I can retrieve that little noisy thing they put in it so she doesn't swallow it.
Star is a great runner and escape artist. So you must be careful when leaving your house. I have been teaching her to sit and stay when I am leaving. It is coming along. She has only snuck out on my husband and Star will just run around the block until she has had enough then she plays dead and you can pick her up so my out of breath husband says.
Star also likes to sleep at the foot of your bed. She is not comfortable if she can't do this. If not allowed she paces the whole night. Star will jump off periodically and go downstairs and check things out but this is on her own accord and then she comes back up.
Star is also vocal when outside or when I leave. She does calm down in a few minutes. She likes to bark at other dogs when in the back yard. She has taken a liking to our neighbours golden retriever and does not bark with him.
Star is such a good girl that I will miss her dearly when she goes but I must make room for more fuzzies so they can be saved too.
