ADOPTED JUN 18-09: Hi everyone!! Stan here again, and I have some wonderful news! I have a new forever home!! That’s right, Ant Ali & Unca Vaughn decided that since I fit in so well here at the Rupnow Rendezvous, that I should become a permanent member of their family. Isn’t that great?! I’m the oldest in the house now, but Charlee is still boss. Well, I better get going and find Ant Ali (I like to follow her around)!

Mini Poodle hugs & kisses,

Stan-the-man
PUPDATE MAY 21-09: Hello everyone! Stan the man here! I figured with a name like Stan, I needed to go to a foster home that would truly appreciate a Cardinals fan! Ant Ali at the Rupnow Rendesvox is a die-hard Cards fan, but Unca Vaughn is a die-hard Cubs fan, whatever that is! Anywho, Ant Chris took real good care of me while I was with her at Hotel Jordan. Thanks Ant Chris! You rock!

I’ve adjusted very well here since I got here on the 19th. My two foster brothers, Charlee and Wrigley even like me! Charlee and I are quite alike in the fact that we both don’t have toofers AND we both like to sleep A LOT! What can I say?! We are kindred spirits and not to mention not spring chickens anymore.

I eat very well and always would like more, but Ant Ali is a stickler and won’t let me! I ate some canned food for dinner and small bites kibble for breakfast. It works out well but I am just a little slower than my piggy foster brothers! They eat like they are never getting fed again. I am more refined and eat like a true gentleman.

I have been doing very well with kennel potty training. When Ant Ali & Unca Vaughn aren’t home, I go in my little kennel and I hold it quite well! I have gone both #1 AND #2 outside both times today! Ant Ali acted like I won a million dollars.

If you are looking for a cuddly little man, then fill out an application and I’ll have my FluffyButt people get back to you soon!
MAY 14-09: Stan here, comin atcha LIVE from Hotel Jordan! You might recognize me as I've been a FluffyButts kid before. My Mom got sick and can't take care of me anymore. She still loves me but she loves me enough to let me go. Now THAT is love.

If you don't remember me, I'm just a little 10 year young guy who weighs in at a hefty 6.9 pounds but I've got a big heart. I've also got only about a fourth of my lower jaw but that doesn't slow me down in the least. I can eat just like everypuppy else only I want MORE than everypuppy else. I growl at the other kids when they get near me in my bed but then I let them curl up beside me. I have to let them know who the boss is, right? Ant Chris just tells me to knock it off. I guess she thinks SHE'S the boss. HMPF!

I'll need to work with you on potty training. I kinda got out of the habit of teaching Ant Chris when I need to go outside but she's a quick learner. Not quick enough sometimes but she'll get there.

Stan's adoption donation is $200.

Please be patient with us - we're taking care of a lot of kids - our own and the foster kids - and we have families, homes and full time jobs. We're giving meds to the sick kids, playing with the healthy kids, and loving on all the kids. We're doing their laundry, trying to teach them manners and where to do their business, and cleaning up their accidents. In other words, we're just a little busy but we'll return email inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. Thanks!
ADOPTIONS:
We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member. We do not ship these kids on airplanes by themselves - we think they'd have a hard time getting through security without their rabies tag setting off the metal detectors. If the kid needs a health certificate because they're flying home, that will be an expense for the new family.

ADOPTION DONATIONS:
When you see the adoption donation amounts, we'd like you to know that 90% of the time the donation amount doesn't even come close to covering that kid's dogtor bills. This is definitely not a money-making venture. We're usually so far in the hole but the impawtant thing is to get these kids the medical care they need and help them find the pawfect family. That's our top pawority. (I just can't resist using "paw" whenever I can!)

POTTY TRAINING:
Please note that we NEVER say our kids are 100% potty-trained. How stupid would we be to say something like that? If you're willing to be trained by your new family member, please fill out an application. If you're looking for a totally potty-trained kid, you may as well stop at the toy store on your way home from work and buy a stuffed toy because those are the only reliable ones to NOT potty in your home. There is a period of adjustment, not just for the new family member but for everyone in the house. You must be patient, understanding, and willing to work with your new family member. It can take anywhere from several days to several months. You must be 100% committed to this, it's a lifetime commitment.

HUG AND KISS YOUR KIDLETS LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW.
