Stallone's owner passed away and he was left on the streets. He was beaten up by a couple of dogs and was rescued by Beauties and Beasts, Inc. and taken to the Wichita Animal Shelter to serve his stray hold.
He needed more medical care than the shelter could give so Beauties stepped in and took him El Paso to get treatment. Once released he went to a foster home to continue healing and start heartworm treatment.
His fosters have learned:
~He loves a soft couch.
~He enjoys all the pets.
~He is housebroken.
~He does not like confined spaces.
~He would love a home with an active family.
~He can climb and jump, so hiking or agility training would be great.
~He is a couch and bed snuggler and will literally melt into you when you start petting him.
They haven't seen any lingering issues other than the cautiousness when meeting new people or animals. It only takes him a minute and then you get the great reward of his love and those soulful eyes!
Stallone is able to scale a chain link fence and therefore will need privacy fencing or wrought iron that he wouldn't be able to escape.
