Born some time in Aug 2007, precious babies, Glory, Sable, Lucky and Sport, were dumped at a Missouri shelter. We think they are American Bulldog mixes.
Sport is a happy outgoing wonderful little guy. Sadly, he has develped a condition in his front legs. The vet says it could be his tendons are not catching up with his bone growth. His front legs will bow out in such a way that he almost has to walk on the sides and tops of his paws - he cannot go very far before he has to stop walking. The vet thinks it can be outgrown and he is on pain meds and calcium supplements. We will continue to try and figure out how to best help him.
In the meantime, Sport is very happy and loves to play with his siblings. He certainly doesn't let his disability get him down. He's a very special boy.
