Spirit was left at a humane society because he "no longer fit the couples life style." In his senior years he was dropped off like garbage. What were they thinking? Didn't they know that a lot of the seniors dogs or dogs that might be seen as unadoptable never make it to the adoption floor? Thankfully the rescue co-ordinator contacted us and let us take him in to rescue. He is now placed with one of our adopter families and they treat Spirit like the treasure he really is.
