Arrival story: Spike came to us from an crowded animal shelter. There were many people there who wanted to adopt Spike, but since there was another dog there that fell ill, we took Spike into our rescue program to assure that he wouldn't also get sick. Therefore, we are monitoring his health (all good so far!) and he will not be available until some time after Christmas.
Approximate age & weight: Spike is 7 months old and 9lbs.
Personality: Spike is all puppy -- playful and outgoing. He is good with other dogs (both big and small) and good with cats.
The ideal home for this animal...: A loving home that will also take care of his grooming needs as he will need regular brushing.
