WE HAVE AN ADOPTION PENDING This extremely handsome 6-7 year old gentle guy has a calmness and affection ingrained in his soul. He is house trained, neutered, fully vetted including dental. Spencer came from a family home where he lived in very squalor conditions. Yes, he was neglected but does not appear to have been physically mistreated. In spite of his previous family life he is a remarkably trusting soul in regards to humans. It looks like he was not taken on very many walks where he previously lived. He had a few issues like barking on leash at other dogs and people when going for a walk, but with the help of a great trainer he is now good when on leash. The lessons are going great and he is quickly learning that he does not have to bark at every dog or person he sees. He is a great dog for a family with older children, a couple or a single person. Spencer has that lovely collie face with beautiful hair and a tail like a plume. He has big, beautiful, brown eyes that reflect his love and affection for his family. We recommend no small children or cats because of his size. He might knock the children over or get too playful with a cat. He is an extremely loyal dog and loves being close to his people. Spencer rides well in the car. He enjoys the outdoors, and loves to roam around the backyard. His favourite thing is to go for a walk with his foster family.
